Kanji Cruncher: Grade 1, Lesson 10

Welcome back for another lesson! Let's knock it out of the park.

Today's kanji:
山 文 女 水 男

Click "Read More" to view the lesson!

Meaning: mountain
If you connect the tops of the three lines, this kanji looks like a little mountain!

Meaning: sentence
Sit at the desk to write your sentences. See the legs of the desk, and the desktop? Or maybe it's Spongebob writing the sentences of his essay!

Meaning: thousand
There are a thousand telephone poles stretching off into the distance!

Meaning: water
Honestly, I'm a little stumped on this one! I just memorized it pretty early on. Maybe it looks like like rivers on a map? What have you got for this one?

Meaning: man
When strength is needed in the rice field, the man comes to help.
(I didn't come up with this story; I've heard it before.)

     Radicals:
     田 rice field
     力 strength, power
