Kanji Cruncher: Grade 1, Lesson 7

It's Thursday! Are you planning for the weekend already? ...Me? Oh, you know, I'll probably just be here, crunching more kanji. My favorite!

Here are the kanji we'll be learning today:

女 百 名

Click the link below to read this lesson! 行きましょう! (Let's go!)

Meaning: woman
This kanji looks a little like a woman dancing. I wonder what kind of dance... Swing is my favorite, honestly. But that's beside the point.

Meaning: hundred
Careful, that plunger is connected to a hundred sticks of dynamite! Wile E. Coyote set a trap for that speedster Roadrunner and you really don't want to get tangled up in it.

     Radicals:

     一 one
     日 sun / day

Meaning: before
Straighten out your legs before they stay that way for life!

     Radicals:

     生 life
     儿 legs

Meaning: name
In the evening, open your mouth and call my name.

     Radicals:

     夕 evening
     口 mouth

Meaning: river
This kanji looks like a river!

Great job! Be sure to check in tomorrow, because we're doing something a little different for our Kanji Cruncher lesson. It's a surprise!

またね!

-Kitty
