Kanji Cruncher: Grade 1, Lesson 5

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Today we're learning five more brand-new kanji.

Meaning: Enter
You have to enter the tent before you can watch the circus! (Greatest Showman, anyone?)

Meaning: Stand up
Quit doing the splits and stand up!

Meaning: Hand
Looks a little like a hand with fingers stretched out. A strange hand.

Meaning: Study
Sometimes the children's hair gets frizzy when they study too much....

Radical:
子 Child

Meaning: Rice field
This kanji looks like a tidy little field, doesn't it? Look at the nice paths that cross through it. Just like a Studio Ghibli movie. Wanna watch Totoro?

...I really want to watch Totoro now. I wonder if my Blu-Ray includes the Japanese audio...?

Anyway, great job again today! So far we've covered twenty of the Grade 1 Kanji. We're a quarter of the way there!

またね!
